fUNKY PEOPLE SERIES

This series represents a deep dive into the fluid nature of identity, using bold, surreal imagery to capture the fluid essence of the human spirit.

In these works, I move beyond literal representation, instead using vibrant color palettes and exaggerated forms to mirror the internal complexities and eccentricities that make each individual unique.

Identity in my art is often a playful subversion of reality - whether it’s a woman crowned with a giant fish or a blue-toned figure emerging from a flower. By stripping away traditional skin tones and anatomical constraints, I aim to portray a version of the “self” that feels both universal and deeply personal.

Each character in this series serves as a mirror for the viewer, inviting them to find pieces of themselves within these distorted, colorful, and unapologetically bold portraits.
