In a creative partnership with office furnishing leader Elemental, the RMCAD 2024 Prêt-à-Porter team transformed industrial materials like flooring tiles and commercial textiles into a garment inspired by the vibrant sunrises of Denver, Colorado.

Applying Interior Design principles of balance and color theory to reconcile rigid office hardware with fluent movement, my specific role involved the design and construction of the skirt, ensuring the structural materials translated into a wearable, rhythmic silhouette.

This project emphasizes a commitment to sustainability and social responsibility. By utilizing eco-friendly materials, the final design reflects Steelcase’s “Better Futures” initiative - creating a high fashion piece that is as ethically responsible and accessible as it is visually striking.
